Torrance, CA and Orlando, FL (InfoComm) -- July 1, 2011 -- Stewart Filmscreen Corporation®, industry leader in precision projection screen technologies for commercial and residential markets, demonstrated a wide variety of screen materials and new mounting system products during InfoComm2011

Since 1947, Stewart Filmscreen has maintained the highest standards in screen design, craftsmanship, and customer service. Our innovative products are used for a wide range of commercial applications. In fact, whatever your standard or custom needs, Stewart can supply the most suitable screen material in any size imaginable. Stewart Filmscreen offers the most technologically advanced screen materials, optimized for today's most popular commercial applications including edge-blending, video conferencing and active/passive 3D.

This year Stewart introduced several new benchmark products. Silver 5D is a new approach in front projection polarization preserving fabrics which allows you to view a picture perfect passive 3D, ghost free, and also display 2D with a wider viewing cone and greater uniformity than previous silver products. The fabric can be electrically deployed on any of Stewart's roller screens, and can be Micro perforated. This product's extraordinary feature combination will complement many viewing environments! In fact, it was the 2011 Commercial Integrator Best Award winner for video projection screen at Infocomm 2011.

The Video Conferencing Screen (VCS) was a HIT! It combines a retractable screen with retractable arms that house and deploy a conferencing camera. This idea of having the perfect place for the camera at all times, that disappears with the screen, reducing clutter in the room, is just what our industry has been searching for.

In addition, Stewart presented the Couture Collection, (a new frame profile, beautifully covered in Swarovski elements crystals), the Gallery Series (fresh profile with multiple finish options, including wood grain, custom colors and faux finishes) and the Cabaret Screen, (a gorgeous below ceiling roller with ultra modern design notes) an extremely designer friendly series of products. StarGlas continues to impress and migrate into new architectural settings. StarGlas has incredible image fidelity, resolution and contrast enhancing technology.

The StarCam, an elegant hidden camera design for teleconference applications, is the latest feature available in the line, another Stewart benchmark, which hides the conference camera, and adds gentility and grace to video conference venues. The StarCam was recognized as the 2011 Commercial Integrator Best Award winner at Infocomm 2011.

The Contrast Calculator is a fantastic tool which uses a thoughtful combination of automated mathematical principles and product features to enable you to design and deliver the perfect system, with a precision preview of brightness, contrast ratio and image fidelity outcomes. Stewart showed a Sphere with our own proprietary optical coating just to show that our abilities allow you to get creative.
